Dana,
The driver on load 6120 just called our receiving desk: the reefer unit failed somewhere after Joliet and the trailer is reading 7°C. There are 22 pallets of dairy on board and our QA team will reject anything that's been above 5°C for more than two hours.
I need to know by 3pm today whether you can get a replacement trailer to the driver or whether we should arrange cross-docking at our Gary facility. Please call me if that's faster.
